Greg Quail is an award winning American & Australian television producer. After ten years reporting for news and current affairs programs, Greg freelanced as a writer, director and producer of documentary and reality TV, before opening Quail Television in 2005. The company quickly became a prolific provider of factual programming for American, Australian and international broadcasters.

Jesse Fawcett, Exec Producer

Jesse Fawcett is a 20 year TV veteran who has developed, executive produced and distributed hundreds of hours of primetime, award winning, television in an array of genres - from animation to drama to reality. He launched his first production company (Telefactory) in 1999, which quickly became a high-volume production company of lifestyle programming for top US, Canadian and international broadcasters. In 2009 Jesse founded Los Angeles and Toronto-based 11 Television, which has grown into today’s Essential Media Group.

Chris Hilton, Exec Producer

Chris Hilton is CEO and founding partner of Essential Media, a Sydney-headquartered production company with a stella track record across a diverse range of genres from feature films and TV drama through to megadoc’s and animation. Some of the company’s key production credits include the Disney movie Saving Mr Banks (starring Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson) and the comedy drama Rake which aired on Fox Network in 2014 (starring Greg Kinnear). Chris’ recent Executive Producer credits include: The Pacific with Sam Neill, Living Universe, Australia: The First 4 Billion Years, My Brother the Serial Killer, The Choir, A Traveler’s Guide to the Planets, Miracles and The Grammar of Happiness.

 

neil sommerlatte, showrunner

Neil Sommerlatte has been a part of the Essential family for 4 years.  Working as a Showrunner in the field or creating new development content in our Texas office, he's an active member of our team. With nearly 10 years working in reality television, Neil has worked on a variety of shows including Texas Flip N Move, Fear Factor, Dance Moms, Border Wars, Building Wild, The First 48, North Woods Law and Lone Star Law. A native Texan, Neil represents Essential Media productions in Fort Worth, Texas.  Neil is married to Bridget and has two adorable red-headed children, Cora and August.  When Neil isn't working... he's working. KALEB KEENE, showrunner

Originally from Louisiana, Kaleb Keene has been an integral part of Essential’s Texas-based TV productions since 2015. With nearly 10 years of experience in the reality television industry, Kaleb has worked on a variety of projects as logistically complex as The First 48, Hunted and Undercover Boss to the character-focused Duck Dynasty and Texas Flip N' Move. Whether shooting in alligator infested waters or the intimacy of a one on one interview space, making talent feel comfortable and secure to bring forth the most genuine character is Kaleb's M.O.  The respect Kaleb shows to his peers and his projects is what sets him apart.  He brings a calm focus and team mentality to any project he is a part of.
